Course Overview

This course is for young people aged 16 – 19 (or to 25 with an EHCP). It is ideal for learners who need to retake their maths and English GCSEs and who want to be able to progress onto a Level 2 Art and Design Course the following year.

Entry Requirements

You will be expected to have a grade 3 (D) in English and maths or demonstrate, through assessment, a standard of literacy and numeracy suitable for a GCSE qualification.

Yes – but it is more of a discussion than an interview. We want to open the doors that are closed to you right now and an important part of this is seeing you in person and discussing how we can help. You will also sit an English and Maths assessment to help us establish your level if you do not already have a GCSE Grade 3. Please bring any exam, qualification certificates and support documents to interview.

Please apply online via the green button. If you are already a student at Barnet Southgate College, ask your tutor to refer you. Contact the Curriculum Manager, Helen Brown: helen.brown@barnetsouthgate.ac.uk. We look forward to meeting you!
