Course Overview
This course is for young people aged 16 – 19 (or up to 25 with an EHCP). It is ideal for learners who need to retake or increase their GCSE qualifications so that they can progress onto A levels or Level 3 BTEC Courses.

Entry Requirements
You will be expected to have a grade 3 (D) in English and Maths or demonstrate, through assessment, a standard of literacy and numeracy suitable for achievement of GCSE qualifications.
Yes – but it is more of a discussion than an interview. We want to open the doors that are closed to you right now and an important part of this is seeing you in person and discussing how we can help. You will also sit an English and Maths assessment to help us establish your level if you do not already have GCSE Grade 3. Please bring any exam, qualification certificates and support documents to interview.

What this course covers
GCSE Maths, GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature, GCSE Business and GCSE Media. In addition, you will have a weekly tutorial with your own personal tutor and a work experience placement.
You will complete assessments throughout the year and complete end of year exams.

Fees and funding
You only need to provide basic equipment such as pens, paper, folders, calculators etc. We will supply the rest.
Progression
Successful completion of the course will enable you to progress onto a Level 3 BTEC course in Business or Travel and Tourism, as well as a wide range of other courses.
