Entry Requirements
Applicants must be 19+ years old and have the following: GCSEs grade 7/8 – 3 (A-D) in English, maths and science, Level 1 basic skills in literacy and numeracy and a satisfactory reference. Good manual dexterity and good oral communication are also essential for this course.

What this course covers
This course will cover a range of topics: manicure and pedicure, facial therapy, make-up techniques, depilatory waxing and lash and brow treatments. You will also learn the associated theory of anatomy and physiology.
Assessments will be oral, written and practical.
On successful completion of this course, you will achieve a Beauty Therapy Diploma Level 2.
Fees and funding
Students will need to purchase the following items: a uniform for approximately £66, kit £140, and £30 for a textbook.
Progression
Students who successfully complete this course may choose to further their studying by proceeding to Diploma Level 3 Beauty Therapy, Media Make Up or Spa Therapy.
