What is ESOL?
ESOL stands for English for Speakers of Other Languages. These courses are designed for people whose first language is not English and who want to improve their communication skills for everyday life, work or education.
You’ll develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills through practical activities and supportive teaching. Courses are available from beginner to advanced levels, helping you progress at your own pace. Depending on your goals, ESOL can help prepare you for employment, vocational training, further education or university, while giving you greater confidence in day-to-day situations.
Change Starts Here
When you study ESOL with us, you’ll join a welcoming and inclusive learning community where support is available every step of the way. Our experienced tutors understand the challenges of learning a new language and will help you develop the skills and confidence to succeed.
We offer courses for young people and adults, with flexible study options available across several campuses. After completing your course, you may be able to progress to vocational programmes, mainstream College courses, further study or employment opportunities, depending on your goals and level of achievement.
