What is Childcare, Education and Teacher Training?

Childcare, Education and Teacher Training focuses on supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. You’ll explore how children grow and learn, develop communication and safeguarding skills, and understand professional practice in education and childcare settings. 

The subject includes early years education, childcare, supporting teaching and learning, and teaching assistant pathways. As you progress, you’ll gain the practical skills and knowledge needed to support children and young people while preparing for employment or further study.
