Barnet and Southgate College celebrates strong A Level and T Level results

Students at Barnet and Southgate College are celebrating another year of success, with strong performances across both A Levels and T Levels reflecting the ambition, determination and hard work of learners across the College.
This year, students achieved an overall A Level pass rate of 84.2% and a T Level pass rate of 90.5%, demonstrating the strength of the College's academic and technical education offer and the quality of teaching, support and industry partnerships that underpin student success.
Science BTEC and T Level Laboratory Science Students Celebrate Outstanding Year of Achievement, Industry Success and Progression
Students and staff gathered to celebrate another exceptional year of achievement across science programmes, recognising the dedication, resilience and success of both T Level Lab Science and BTEC Science students.
The annual celebration highlighted academic excellence, industry engagement, personal development and the remarkable progress students have made throughout the year as they prepare for university, employment and the next stage of their careers.

As the Supported Internship Manager for Barnet Education and Learning Services, I recently had the genuine pleasure of spending time with two remarkable young people who are part of our pilot Supported Internship programme delivered in partnership with Barnet Southgate College (BSC) and the Arts Depot.

Students and staff were delighted to welcome a familiar face from television as former The Great British Bake Off contestant Lizzie Acker visited our Barnet campus to mentor neurodiverse learners. Lizzie attended the College as a representative of the Mason Foundation, an organisation dedicated to supporting neurodivergent young people through mentoring, skills development, and confidence-building opportunities.
