Our Architecture pathways

Level 2 – Architecture Pathway (post‑GCSE)

If you’re curious about buildings, spaces and design, Level 2 gives you a strong foundation. You’ll explore 2D/3D techniques, architectural drawing, model‑making, materials, digital tools and CAD basics, with assessment through projects and portfolio work.

Level 3 – UAL Extended Diploma in Architecture

At Level 3, you develop higher‑level architecture skills and a more advanced portfolio. You’ll use traditional and digital media, engage in CAD and studio practice, and complete a major final project, with opportunities to specialise in areas such as architecture and interior design.

Access to HE Diploma: Design (Architecture)

This course at Barnet and Southgate College is designed for students interested in pursuing careers in the digital creative design industry. This two-year course teaches traditional art and design skills alongside the latest 3D digital technology used by today’s leading creative industries. Students will experience a wide range of creative media, equipping them with the skills and expertise to work with the very latest design technology and 3D digital rendering systems to communicate ideas and showcase their skills.
