What qualifications or experience do I need?
To join this course, you are required to have *4 GCSEs at grades 9–2 (A–E)**, one of which must be English (or an equivalent). You must have an interest in Public Services. Previous experience of public services is not required to secure a place on the course.
What will I study ?
You will explore a range of topics that introduce you to how public services operate and the qualities needed to succeed, including: · Planning and Navigating a Route · Assisting Members of the Public · Carrying out Security Searches · Taking Part in Fitness Testing
How will I be assessed ?
Assessment will take place throughout the course using methods such as practical assessments, written assignments, presentations, and workbooks.
What qualifications could I achieve ?
On successful completion of this course, you will achieve a Level 1 BTEC Introductory Diploma in Public Services.
