What qualifications or experience do I need?
You must be working in a role that enables you to demonstrate the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) of the apprenticeship standard.
This programme is suitable for individuals who are involved in project-related work or looking to move into a project support role. Entry requirements may vary by employer, but GCSEs in English and maths at grade 4 (or equivalent) are typically required.
What will I study ?
You will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to contribute to the successful delivery of projects. This includes understanding how to plan, schedule and monitor project activities, ensuring that objectives, timelines and budgets are achieved.
You will learn how to manage project scope, risks and resources, and how to work effectively with stakeholders to support project delivery. The programme also covers areas such as budgeting and cost control, communication, leadership and teamwork, enabling you to work confidently within project teams.
Alongside these technical skills, you will develop the ability to organise work, solve problems and adapt to changing circumstances, ensuring projects are delivered successfully across a wide range of industries and environments.
How will I be assessed ?
You will be assessed through a combination of work-based learning and practical activities, building a portfolio of evidence throughout the programme to demonstrate your competence.
At the end of the apprenticeship, you will complete an end-point assessment consisting of:
A written project report with a presentation and questioning
A professional discussion based on your portfolio
This ensures you can apply your knowledge and skills to support real project delivery within your organisation.
