For adults aged 19+ recovering from mental health conditions and at a stage in their recovery where they are able to benefit from being and studying at college. The applicants should be ready to make a commitment to the course, attend regularly and be able to cope with the college environment. This course is an optional module in the Community Link programme.
No formal qualifications or experience are required.
A Functional Skills IT class for students who want to continue improving their IT skills. This course will help develop your computer skills in a variety of everyday contexts, learning about Microsoft Word and Excel. Email and internet are also covered.
Functional Skills exam at entry level 3 or above. Students can take the exam in Spring and Summer term.
