No previous experience of Art required

Students will learn basic drawing and painting techniques through a number of projects. We will consider the formal elements of art: line, colour, shape, form and texture as part of those projects. Past and present Artists will be referenced in each project.

The tutor will give on-going feedback to students and will encourage individuals and peers to reflect on their own and others work. Some students will want to set Art targets as part of their Individual learning Plan. Students will develop a portfolio of work.
