This course is designed for adults living with or recovering from mental health problems
Prospective students need to be able have a basic level of Literacy (E2) and an interest in Art that they wish to develop.
Students will develop their employability and artistic skills through a variety of projects and a voluntary work placement in an artistic setting. Students will also develop self-knowledge and the ability to make and carry out realistic and inspiring goals for their future.
Through portfolio, self, peer, placement and tutor feedback
Portfolio can be used to access places on higher level Art courses

Yes, you will need to meet with a member of staff (Helen MacKeith ) for an interview and an initial assessment.
Although it is not essential to buy any equipment or materials, some students decide to buy some extra items to enhance their artistic practice.
