The Courses last from 1 to 3 years, dependant on your age, chosen course and GCSE grades.
It is for males who are between 16-18 years of age that want to further their knowledge, understanding and ability in football whilst at the same time continuing their education.
Boreham Wood PASE provides you with the opportunity to gain a variety of BTEC Sport qualifications, gain a qualification in multi trade construction, as well as study a variety of A Levels.
Your education provider will be Barnet and Southgate College, and you will study at their Colindale (Grahame Park) Campus or Barnet, Wood Street Campus depending on your chosen course.
We will train at a new 3rd Generation astro turf, that all of your coaching sessions will take place at Boreham Wood Football Club.
Training will be based on improving you as players on ALL aspects of the game, with sessions concentrating on a players technique, control and tactical awareness, to name but a few.
We employ a team of full and part time medical staff who look after our players, they will cater for all your physiotherapy needs. We currently have a team of physios, a new physio clinic with state of the art equipment, and a fully functional gym. Which will ensure all our players have the expert help and advice they need.
We do not allow you to train in “whatever you want”, so you will be expected to purchase a training set from us. This includes a tracksuit, jumper, polo shirt, training top, training shorts, training socks, and kit bag which is subsidised to reduce the cost (this is the only football cost you will incur from us).
Fully qualified Tutors from the college you choose will be responsible for helping you gain your academic grades, whilst your football coaching will be taken by ourselves and our UEFA Licensed Coaches.
