Boreham Wood PASE - Courses

Boreham Wood PASE Football Academy, in conjunction with our education partners Barnet and Southgate College, offers a wide range of BTEC or A-Level courses for players of all educational and footballing abilities

After the trial process with Boreham Wood PASE, each student must apply to their chosen course with Barnet and Southgate College.

NO places with Boreham Wood PASE are guaranteed until the student has successfully completed the interview process and been accepted onto their course by the College.

BTEC courses

Level 1, 2 and 3 BTEC courses instruct the essential requirements for any career in Sports, and fulfill the necessary requirements to continue your education into university level.

Level 1 BTEC Introductory Diploma in Sport and Active Leisure (Boreham Wood PASE Academy)

Level 2 BTEC Diploma in Sport (Boreham Wood PASE Academy)

Level 2 YMCA Diploma in Health, Fitness and Exercise Instruction (Boreham Wood PASE Academy)

Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Sport (Boreham Wood PASE Academy)

Level 3 BTEC Extended Certificate in Sport (Boreham Wood PASE Academy)

 

A Level courses

A Level courses fulfill the necessary requirements to continue your education into university level.
Please note: If selected in the Elite section of the Boreham Wood PASE Academy, players can choose any A Level subjects. However if after the trial process you are not selected to be an Elite player, you must not timetable Wednesday classes as they are game days.

AS courses (Year 1) are for students who wish to study full-time to progress to university courses having recently achieved a range of GCSE qualifications.

A2 courses (Year 2) are for students who wish to study full-time to progress to university courses having recently achieved a range of GCSE and AS qualifications.

Construction courses

Construction courses available at Barnet and Southgate College range in levels 1, 2 or 3, becoming more advanced as the levels get higher.

Construction courses provide the essential requirements for any career in the trades and cover a wide range of skills, including bricklaying, electrical installations, carpentry & joinery, wall & floor tiling, engineering, painting & decorating, plastering, as well as plumbing.
