Traineeships

Traineeships, also known as pre-apprenticeships, are training programmes to help students gain the skills needed to prepare for and secure employment in an apprenticeship or other form of work

What are the benefits?

Employer feedback consistently reports that young people who apply for vacancies often lack work related skills and attitudes. Traineeships help develop skills through work preparation training, work placements, and by improving English and maths skills. By equipping you with the skills you will need in employment and providing work experience, traineeships help you get to where you want to go next.

We offer Traineeships in the following sectors:

  • Automotive
  • Beauty
  • Business
  • Construction
  • Digital Media
  • Electrical
  • Health and Social Care,
  • Hairdressing
  • ICT
  • Sport
