There are many ways to get involved in college life from playing sport, to social events and being part of shaping the College
Any ideas for activities or events from students are welcome at any time.. Students should speak to a member of the Learner Services Team with their ideas.

In addition to the Sports Dept. Academy programme, Barnet and Southgate College now offer a comprehensive package of sport and physical activity opportunities for every student all readily accessible under the new Sports Union. Sports available include: Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Dodgeball, Football (Just Play & Team 19), Futsal, Handball, Netball/Women’s Basketball, Table Tennis, Touch Tennis and Volleyball, whilst classes/activities include: Boxing, MMA, Zumba, Cardio Tennis, Cheerleading, Cheer Dance and Trampolining.
All these sports and physical activities are available each term time week to every student of the College regardless of age, gender or ability. All you have to do to participate is become a Sports Union member for £30 per annum.
In addition, the College possesses a newly refurbished fitness facility located at the Southgate campus. The Sports Centre encompasses a ‘Cardio & Core’ room, specialist ‘Strength & ‘Conditioning Room’ and ‘Consultation Room’ all of which is available for usage by any student upon becoming a ‘Full Fitness’ member.
