Fashion students' designs hit the catwalk with celebrity host

Fashion Students recently held their final year show at Barnet and Southgate College’s Wood St Campus in Barnet, where they showcased designs from their final year collections.

A custom built catwalk was erected in the stunning atrium of the College campus especially for the show. The audience was wowed with an array of colourful and imaginative designs, which students have been working on all year.

Actor Daniel Roche, who plays Ben in BBC1’s hit sitcom ‘ Outnumbered ’, was also invited to host the prize giving part of the show. Daniel caused a celebrity stir amongst staff and students, who were all keen to take his picture and chat to him.

Barnet and Southgate College Principal David Byrne said:

“Barnet and Southgate College is extremely proud of all of our talented final year Fashion students, who put on an inspirational and very professional show. They’ve all worked extremely hard putting together their collections, and the end of year catwalk show has become an annual College highlight. It also gives the students a chance to shine and be involved in a real life fashion event, which they may one day be hosting themselves.”
