Barnet and Southgate College was delighted to welcome David Pinto-Duschinsky MP to its Colindale Campus, where he met staff and students and saw first-hand how the College is helping local people develop the skills, confidence and experience needed to succeed in their chosen careers.
Barnet and Southgate College celebrates strong A Level and T Level results

Students at Barnet and Southgate College are celebrating another year of success, with strong performances across both A Levels and T Levels reflecting the ambition, determination and hard work of learners across the College.
This year, students achieved an overall A Level pass rate of 84.2% and a T Level pass rate of 90.5%, demonstrating the strength of the College's academic and technical education offer and the quality of teaching, support and industry partnerships that underpin student success.
A legacy of transformation: Adam Goldstein steps down as Chair of Governors
The College has announced a major leadership transition, with long-standing Chair of Governors Adam Goldstein stepping down after six years of dedicated service. He is succeeded by the College's current Vice Chair, Jenny Jarvis, who officially steps into the role of Chair from September.
Barnet and Southgate College helps launch new alliance to tackle London's electrical skills shortage
The College has played a leading role in the launch of the Local London Electrotechnical Training and Careers Alliance (ETCA), bringing together employers, education providers and other industry aligned organisations to strengthen the pipeline of skilled electricians across the capital.

As the Supported Internship Manager for Barnet Education and Learning Services, I recently had the genuine pleasure of spending time with two remarkable young people who are part of our pilot Supported Internship programme delivered in partnership with Barnet Southgate College (BSC) and the Arts Depot.
