This pioneering venture for North London opened in September 2014 and is the first purpose-built college centre in the area providing specialist education facilities which are totally dedicated to the specific needs of students with learning disabilities.
The College’s specialist centre, based at the Southgate Campus in Enfield, provides a new and improved learning environment for disabled students and those with learning difficulties.
The Supported Learning Department was historically split over two campuses in Southgate and Grahame Park in Colindale, but from September 2014 it has all been based at the Southgate Campus.
The challenges that these students face throughout their lives are complex and demanding, but one critical factor is the need for an educational environment that helps each individual reach his or her potential in life.
The Centre of Excellence provides this very place allowing students to learn in a safe environment entirely tailored to their needs. The Centre makes a life-changing difference to 200 students each year.
