Those responsible for delivering a high quality service to customers in the workplace, digitally, or through going out into the customer's own locality. You may be the first point of contact and work in any sector or organisation type. Attendance on this course is required once every month.

Five GCSEs at Grade C or higher with GCSE English and Maths A-C or L2 English and Maths Functional Skills. (Apprentices without L1 or L2 English and Maths will need to achieve this level prior to being formally assessed - you will be supported to achieve this during the training programme). You must also be working in a Customer Service role

Topics covered will include role and responsibilities, the customer, the organisation, laws and regulations, systems and resources, products and services. Communication, Interpersonal Skills and Presentation. Attendance on this course is required once every month.

During the programme you will undertake an online or paper based exams for Functional Skills. Work based activities to demonstrate the development of your knowledge, skills and behaviours, including a synoptic showcase. Observations in the workplace, looking at how you perform your job role. Witness testimonies provided by your employer about the standard of your work. Feedback from your customers to confirm the service they have received from you. At the end of the programme you will be independently assessed by an End Point Assessment Organisation who will make a decision on whether you have passed your apprenticeship or not. They will use a grading system of Pass, Distinction or Fail. This will include an apprentice showcase, practical observation and professional discussion
