Designed for those who seek a career in business, this course is also ideal if you would like to progress to a business programme in higher education. Attendance on this course is required once every month.

You will need five GCSEs at grade C (4/5) including English and maths OR Level 2 Diploma grade Merit in a relevant subject and GCSE grade C (4/5) in English and maths. A suitable academic reference is also required.

The apprentices will complete both practical on-the-job training to gain real experience, and learning that develops knowledge and understanding of their job roles. This 12 to 18 month programme covers: Communicating in a business environment; Managing personal and professional development; Principles of business communication and information; Principles of administration; Principles of business; Contributing to the improvement of business performance; Delivering bespoke business documents; Managing an office facility. Attendance on this course is required once every month.

Assessment is continuous through assignments across the year.

Successful students will achieve: Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (QCF); Level 1 Employment Rights and Responsibilities; PTLS - Personal Thinking & Learning Skills; Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and /or ICT and English.
