This course is aimed at students who have completed a Level 3 qualification in Sport or a relevant subject or who want to progress to Higher Education; If you have a keen interest in Sport and are seeking a career in the rapidly expanding field of Sports Science this course could be ideal for you.

We welcome applicants who are 19 years of age or over who have maths and English GCSEs at a minimum of grade C (4/5) or above. Additionally you may need a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport or an equivalent Level 3 qualification, depending on your age and experience. Vocational experience would be great but is not essential.

Units that will be covered include human biology, anatomy, physiology, sports injuries and sports massage.

You will be assessed in variety of ways including practical assessments, theory assignments, timed exams, presentations and workbooks.

You could achieve an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Sports Therapy.
