If you have an ambition to study an engineering discipline at university yet do not have the formal qualifications to gain direct entry onto degree level study this course will appeal; it is particularly designed for those who have had a break in their education and need to refresh their knowledge.
We welcome students who are 19 years of age or over and have a minimum of grade C in GCSE maths and English. 19+ applicants with an IELTS score of 5.5 or above will also be considered.
Students will study a wide range of modules including: Mathematics for engineering, Computer-aided design (CAD), Mechatronics, Engineering materials, Signal processing principles, Electronic circuits
You will be assessed through a combination of practical task completed in laboratories, reports, presentations and coursework assignments. This qualification will appeal to students who prefer portfolio-based assessment covering a variety of engineering investigations.

Please complete an application form and return it to the College; either on-line or by post. You will then be interviewed by a member of the course team or other designated interviewer and may be required to complete a pre-enrolment assessment ins in maths and English. .
