This course is for men and women aiming to work in the beauty and make up industry either on a makeup counter in a retail outlet or as a freelance makeup artist in bridal, cosmetic, camouflage make up plus supporting skills for makeup clients and brides such as skin care, eye treatments and false lashes.
Level 1 English is required.
Health and safety, product knowledge, makeup application skills to include day, evening, special occasion, eye treatments and client care.
Both practical and theory areas will be assessed via practical assessments, written tests and assignments and verbal questioning.
On successful completion of all assessment requirements a Level 2 Certificate in Makeup will be awarded.

Yes, you will need to meet a member of staff for an interview and an initial assessment.
A uniform is required to be purchased at the cost of £65.00. Optional make up and beauty kits can be purchased, further advice will be given at interview. An optional text book is also available.
This course is ideal for people who wish to have a career in the makeup and beauty industry. Industry experience would be considered at interview for mature applicants.
