This is an ideal course for those interested in tourism, events and business and who wish to pursue a career in the industry or study these subjects at university.

You will need at least four GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including GCSE English and maths at grade 4 (C) or above; OR a Level 2 travel qualification with GCSE English and maths at grade 4 (C) or above.

This course will include the following topics among others: the travel and tourism industry, the marketing and business of travel and tourism, human resource management and business communications.

Assessment is continuous through assignments across the year.

On successful completion of this course you will achieve a BTEC Level 3 subsidiary Diploma in Travel & Tourism and a BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Business.

Yes, you will need to meet with a member of staff for an interview and an initial assessment with your GCSE results.
