This course is ideal if you are thinking about a career in business or marketing, or for anyone who would like to study business at a higher level.

Applicants must have five GCSEs, with four of these being grade 4 or above including maths, and one being GCSE English language at 5 or above. Alternatively, applicants may also have a Level 2 Diploma with a Merit grade in a relevant subject PLUS grade 4 GCSEs in maths and grade 5 in English. A suitable academic reference is also required. To progress to Year 2 you need to have successfully completed Year 1.

This course will cover a range of topics including: the business environment, business resources, an introduction to marketing, business communications and creative product promotion.

Assessment is continuous through course work.

On successful completion of this course you will achieve a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business & Marketing (equivalent to 3 A-Levels).
