This course is ideal if you are thinking about a career in business or law, or for anyone who would like to study business or law at a higher level. This course combines business, finance and law units throughout the year.

You should have the following qualifications: five GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including GCSE grade 4 (C) in English language and maths, OR a Level 2 Diploma (merit grade) in a relevant subject and GCSE maths and English language grade 4 (C). A suitable reference is also required. To progress to Year 2 you need to have successfully completed Year 1.

This course will cover a range of topics including but not limited to: business marketing, business finance and civil and criminal law.

Assessment is continuous through course work and some exam based units.

On successful completion of this two year course you will achieve a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business (equivalent to 3 A-Levels).
