This is an introductory course for beginners who want to learn basic fashion and personal styling skills and techniques used in the styling industry; or for those wishing to improve their basic fashion and personal styling skills.

All students are welcome, no previous knowledge is required.

Learning will take place through demonstrations, discussion and practical one-to-one guidance. By the end of the course students should be able to: consult and suggest the best clothing styles for clients; identify body shapes; understand colour and how to select to flatter; wardrobe edit; understand personal shopping; use online styling tools; use social media for styling; understand styling for multimedia.

Assessment will take place in class.

This is a non-certificated course, and so no formal qualifications will be awarded.

No interview is required for this course.

Basic materials are included in this course; however you will need to BYOD (bring your own device) such as a tablet, laptop, iPad, Phone with Camera and App Download features. (Your tutor will give you more details at induction.)
