For anyone who would like to improve their photography skills and understand their Digital Camera.

There are no formal entry requirements, but an interest in photography and a commitment to improve your photography skills is essential. Basic computer knowledge is also required.

Basic controls of your digital camera and moving away from using the automatic settings. Understanding the different camera modes, exposure, aperture and shutter speed. Exploring composition in portraits, still life & night time photography. Introduction to Photoshop tools.

Your assessment will be based on your portfolio of work.

College Certificate. Also an opportunity for credits against Foundation Degree modules.

Please complete an application form and return to the College with your payment - either online, by post or in person at the Wood Street Campus.

No interview is required.

Students should have their own digital camera and memory stick. If not, your tutor can offer advice on purchasing a camera to suit your needs.
