A one year course, designed for those who are interested in the creative and digital world.
You will need 4 GCSEs grade A* - E (8/9 - 2/3), preferably including English
You will be required to explore, develop and test your creativity within a structure that provides a sound base of skills and knowledge. You will experience a range of core skills, including multimedia, digital animation, digital interactivity, IT fundamentals and communication, IT and website software, as well as teamworking.
Coursework is assessed throughout the year.

Yes - you will need to meet a member of staff for an interview; to which you should bring a portfolio of your artwork, and a written piece (approximately 300 words - one side of A4) on why you are applying for a creative course and what your future plans are.
Most of the materials will be provided, but it is advisable to invest in a selection of media storage equipment and materials, so that you can continue your work outside of the studios.
Students may be required to study Functional Skills or GCSE English and/or Maths as part of their programme.
