The course is ideal for those who are new to accountancy and are considering a career in finance. This short 7 day course will give you a taster into to the world of accounting and finance.

No formal accounting or finance experience is necessary, but applicants should have English and maths at Level 1 equivalent or above. Mature students may be accepted upon successful completion of an initial assessment.

Learners will gain an understanding of: key terminology used in finance; the numeracy skills accountants need; ethics for accountants; types of business documentation used by accountants. Learners will also work on a portfolio throughout the course to achieve their Business Administration Level 1.

Please complete an application form and return it to the College - either online, by post or in person at one of our campuses.

Yes, you will need to meet a member of staff for an interview and an initial assessment.

There will be additional charges if students wish to re-sit exams.

Monthly starts available throughout the year. 2 days per week for 2 weeks. Class times are 10am - 4pm daily.
